On the upper floor of Jordan to the Tearoom scholtenhagenweg 42 (near the entrance to the Recreatiehof 't Stien'nboer) is last year an exhibit about "Ariëns & Eendracht". This exhibition also continues in 2017 still accessible (not on Mondays).
A second chance opportunity, so for anyone out there not to come last year.
The exhibition is built around the person of Dr. Alphons Ariëns and has as topics under more: who was Alphons Ariëns, its meaning for the Catholic Church in the Netherlands in the 20th century, its predecessors and contemporaries, working and living conditions around 1900, weaving his initiative ' de Eendracht ', and the (Catholic) trade union movement.
A visit to the exhibition let itself perfectly combine with a bike ride through the beautiful surroundings of the Haaksbergse water mill.
